About FurSociety

FurSociety did not begin with a business plan. It began with Mickey and Luna.

Mickey is our much-loved Staffy who developed arthritis in his back and legs at a young age. Watching him struggle with stiffness and discomfort was heartbreaking, and like any pet parent, we searched for anything that could help improve his quality of life. We researched, tested and tried different products until we found something that made a noticeable difference to his mobility. That product later became the FurSociety Mobility Wand.

At the same time, Luna was dealing with ongoing skin irritation and sensitivity. Her condition made us realise how difficult it can be to find practical, gentle products that genuinely support a pet's everyday comfort. We wanted solutions we could trust for our own animals—not products chosen simply because they looked good on a shelf.

That is where FurSociety truly started.

We created FurSociety to share thoughtfully selected products with other South African pet families facing the same worries, frustrations and challenges. Every item we add to our range is chosen with the same care we give to Mickey, Luna and Sylvester.

We are not just pet-product sellers. We are pet parents who understand what it feels like to search for something that may help a beloved animal feel more comfortable, confident and cared for.
